CLM vs contract intelligence.
These are different jobs, and confusing them is expensive. A CLM manages an agreement up to signature. Contract intelligence starts after signature, when the question stops being where is the file and becomes what does this commit us to now.
A CLM is a system of record. Contract intelligence is a system of answers. If your agreements are already signed and stored and you still cannot answer a question about them without opening files, the gap is intelligence, not storage.

Common questions
Does contract intelligence replace a CLM?
No. A CLM manages the path to signature and remains the system of record. Contract intelligence reads the executed result and answers questions about it. krtiq is designed to sit beside whatever you already use, including a shared drive or a mailbox.
We already have a CLM. Why can we not answer these questions?
Because storing four documents is not the same as resolving them. A CLM holds the MSA, two amendments, and an order form as four records. Answering what the notice period is today means reading all four in the right order and knowing which one currently governs, which is the work contract intelligence does.
Is this just search over contracts?
No. Search returns documents that mention a term. Contract intelligence resolves which occurrence is in force, cites the document that set it, and shows what it superseded.
Do we have to move our contracts?
No. krtiq connects to the mailboxes and drives where agreements already sit, and files can be added in any order. There is no taxonomy to design and no tagging step.
